brianb1941 Posted June 27 Report Share Posted June 27 I was very sad to learn today that Tony Field had passed away last Sunday, after 4 weeks in hospital. In the mid-late 50's Tony was a top class rider, with a wicked sprint. He was a best friend of my eldest brother, Dave Bourne, and they frequently rode together, with Ken Haddon and Jim George. Tony introduced Dave (and subsequently my other brother, Keith, and myself) to the Saracen. In return, Dave introduced Tony (and Keith and myself) to the Ritz dancehall in Kings Heath where we all met our future wives!
